| Janet on Messenger: September 3, 2021 -- Andrew and I will be going on a backpacking trip on Isle Royale National Park. Ferrying over Saturday September 4th and ferrying back Monday September 13th. 8 days hiking with 8 of my HikaNation friends. No internet service on the island. We leave tomorrow and will be staying at a friend's cabin before and after the trip. Return home Wednesday September 15th. Goal is just to make it daily to the campsite. Look forward to sharing our story upon our return. And YES, 9/6/21, Andrew will be celebrating his 65th birthday with a bunch of strangers in the woods. Is that love or what?  September 7, 2021 -- Leaving Daisy Farm, hiking to Moskey Basin. Keith's official 69th bay. We had stores to celebrate. | |

We stayed at Moskey Basin for 3 nights. Most of the group went on to Chippewa Harbor for a night. I had the great pleasure of watching 4 busy beavers for an hour plus. | |

September 13, 2021 -- Ferry back to Copper Harbor. Celebratory dinner at Harbor Haus for dinner. What a great trip! | |
