Beginning my Great Retirement Journey! -- July 2018 |
| Spent weekend in Columbus OH with great friends, the Dyers, then left to drive across the Plains with fellow hiker and friend Sharon. Spent night in KC with our friend Gayle and her cute dogs. Finally just got to Colorado, where we'll meet up with 6 other "HikaNation" hikers for a 2 week backpack trek across the Rockies! The last time I was in Kansas it took us a month to walk across--now six hours to drive it!! I kinda prefer the slow method......(HikaNation). |
