Acclimated for 3 days at 10,000 feet then hiked up toward the Continental Divide. Tented just before a huge thunderstorm hit! After 5 days we are finally taking a rest day in Breckenridge, then back up to the Tenmile ridge on Friday. Wonderful weather and times reconnecting with dear friends who always have your back on the trail!! Heading out, clean and happy. Finally, we reached the Divide (Tim was taking the pic - and it was cold!). Fun times while we acclimated. Morning coffee. A long stretch in the heat. Heading toward the mountains! Lyle and Cindy check out the routes. (Damn...lost again!!) Sharon wearing flip-flops with Vibram soles? Tim and Tish treat the water for drinking. I love Colorado !!
