* Due to the placement of the "title" on the starred page styles above, if an image is placed in the first position (see explanation below), it will be on the right side of the page instead of the left; or it will be centered if no title is chosen to be diplayed on the page.

Other oddities may occur concerning the alignment of text, etc with these * pages when a "title" is used.

This page deals with the alignment of scrapbook images that are added directly to a webtv page (using "add an item" -- "picture" -- "scrapbook") and not using their urls.

The "page style" chosen determines the alignment of images added directly from the scrapbook when you use the method of "add an item" -- "picture" -- "scrapbook".

Some "page styles" align the images centered on the page; some alternate the alignment from the left side and right side of the page; and one, aligns all the images only on the left side. See alignment chart above.

When adding images directly to your webpage from the scrapbook (using "add an item" -- "picture" -- "scrapbook" ), if the "page style" is one that alternates the alignment of the images from left to right, webtv uses the codes below for the alignment:

<H3 align="right">title of image</H3> <img src="http://url" align="right">

and

<H3 align="left">title of image</H3> <img src="http://url" align="left">
