| From Sandia Schley on Facebook, May 2025: It's been 45 years, and I only got as far as Cedar City, Utah - but I want to thank all of you HikaNation folks for staying in touch with each other and creating this wonderful community. Thanks to your efforts - I can prove I was there! I went from Hemet, CA to Berkeley twice in '79 for those planning meetings, and am in a couple of the group shots from California. Hopefully I can share my few surviving photos within the year. I'm pretty sure I had the first HikaNation Baby - born 12/03/81, which definitely changed my trajectory. Good to see you are still enjoying the journey. |
