From William Ewart's journal:
Surprised I wasn't visited by the local police overnight since I did not make the camping area they suggested last night (it was another 40+ minutes away and I was exhausted so I camped on the outskirts of Jonesville). Left morning camp around 845am.
With smiling faces, truckers on Route 70 to Blackwater told me "I was way behind, that I'd never catch up and these mountains are steep....sure you don't want a ride?" Some confusion from the Sheriff last night on the groups' route but found myself back on group route at Route 612 and Route 70 at 1015am and directional cairns!!!
To Blackwater by 1145am - group's directions were left at the store - what a surprise!!
Glad to be back with the group after 4+ days of catching up with mileages of 4.5, 27, 30, 29, and 34.
